I’m sitting here getting ready to worship with thousands of other worshipers here at the National Worship Leader Conference in Austin Texas. Rita Springer is getting ready to rock a worship set.
Shaun Groves just taught a great class called Advanced Blogging. It was very informative.
It’s extremely HOT here in Austin. Shaun Groves posted a funny post about the heat here.
The countdown just counted down to zero and literally thousands of people rose to their feet as Rita Springer started singing “He Reigns” - such a wonderful sound - so I’m gonna log off for now, but wanted to get in a quick update while I had a few minutes!

great insights! I would have liked to get together with a few of the bloggers at the conference, share ideas and such, but I also know that Shaun Groves did a great job covering the basics.
How great was Rita? I got to watch her drummer (who had never played with her before) listen to her CD the first time. When “I have to Believe” played on the computer we were all just silent, and his response was simply, “man she’s great.” I had to agree, and when i watched him fluidly play that song in the set, I had a big smile thinking of how many people came together to present some powerful moments.

@jeremy: Yeah, man it was pretty cool. I think my favorite moments in worship were with Kathryn Scott and Israel Houghton. Rita was awesome too!
