Sunday Gatherings

House of Joy meets every Sunday inside Ashley Cinemas at 9:30 and 11am. Through practical messages, rockin’ music, and creative media, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format that’s easy to understand, even if you’ve never been to church.  It is often said that House of Joy is a great church for those who don’t necessarily like church or have given up on church.

 

We create five age appropriate environments every Sunday, so everyone in the family can engage in a fun and effective way.

 

Playhouse – Birth – 2

Treehouse – 3 – K

Clubhouse – 1^st – 5^th grade

hotChurch (11am only) – 6^th – 12 grade

Adult Gathering – adults/families

 

What to Expect

Church that is actually fun and enjoyable for the whole family

Dress casually and comfortably (jeans, shorts, t-shirts – whatever works for you is fine for us)

Great, live music with a nice blend of soulful and rock (guitars, drums – the works)

A creative talk that is practical and relevant to your life in Lowndes County

A service that won’t last more than 65 minutes (hey, we all have things to do!)

Your children to make you bring them back the next week

Donuts and drinks for the whole family between 10:30 and 11am

 

Where Do We Meet?

House of Joy meets inside of Ashley Cinemas. That’s right we rent out the whole Cinema on Sunday mornings. It will be the most comfortable church chair you ever sat in. Ashley Cinemas is located at 2812 N Ashley St. just south of Northside Dr.
