Backpack Attack

With school starting on 8/6 there will be children who will be without proper school supplies due to circumstances out of their control. We would love to help remedy this by providing back packs full of needed school supplies for these children. There are two ways to get involved:

Children – Put together a backpack of supplies and give it to a friend, neighbor, or classmate who is in need.
Adults – Bring a backpack of supplies to the HoJ Children’s Area on 8/1 or 8/8.

*Children – If you need a backpack to give away at school, pick one up Sunday August 8^th.

REMINDER: Some supplies are themed to girls and boys – please be thoughtful.

Groups… coming this August!

Go beyond the Sunday morning experience and get involved in a group! We have made some exciting changes to the group ministry with the hopes of impacting even more people! We are now offering 4 different types of groups that we believe will make it possible for anyone and everyone to get involved at a level they are comfortable with and challenged by. Youth Back to School Bash

August 7th the youth will be having a back to school pool party at Ben and Donna Norton’s house. This would be an awesome time to invite someone new! This will be from 3 p.m-7 p.m. and we will be grilling out that night. For more information email our Youth Pastor by clicking here.

Kindness Challenge

Exercise your freedom this month by using it to serve someone else! If you are enjoying the freedom of a lawn mower- cut someones grass! If you have a car- drive someone to the store! If you have an oven- bake someone cookies! Get creative and be intentional about using the gifts God has freely given to you.
