Be kind, let someone else unwind! Most of us do life at 100mph. It is nice to take a break every now and then. Be the break this month for someone in your life by serving a need in their life. Be it raking a busy neighbor’s yard, washing an employee’s car, babysitting for free, or just volunteering your time for a bunch of strangers, you can follow Christ’s example by putting the needs of others before your own this month!

Families With Children

Meet us on Saturday, March 13 during the Azalea festival in Drexel Park at 12 noon. House of Joy will be providing sub sandwiches, chips/dip, and soda. This will be a great time for our families to gather, meet, chat, eat, and hang out at the festival. Look for the House of Joy balloons and signs near the corner of Brookwood Drive and Williams Street. Donations and help are always welcome. Leadership Communion

Our leadership communion will be held at Stone Creek Country Club on Sunday, March 14 at 6 pm.The Norton family will be leading worship and Chris King will be speaking. Bring the whole family for this special time of sharing communion together.

Azalea Festival

Join us Saturday, March 13 for the 2010 Valdsota-Lowndes Azalea Festival! Thousands will be coming to enjoy live music, a wide variety of foods, arts and crafts, and kids activities galore.Let’s show up big as Church family to serve at this biggest community event of the year!!

Let us know which one hour time slot between 10am-6pm you can come help run the House of Joy booth. We will be passing out balloons, holding a drawing, and overall just having a blast!
