Don’t Go To Church BE The Church: On 10/10/10 we will be canceling our regular Sunday morning services in order to make a difference in the community.  Individuals, businesses, Greek organizations, groups, clubs and families are all invited to serve the community with us.  Whether you go to church or not, you can still come BE the church with us on 10/10/10!

September Kindness Challenge

In preparation for the Don’t Go To Church BE The Church!  on Sunday  10/10/10 we are throwing out the challenge for people to  be kind by donating quarters!  We are going to see how far $.25 will go next month as we celebrate this special Sunday all over town.  The quarters will be used at various laundromats around town for a special act of kindness.  To donate, simply put your quarters into the designate jug on the love out table on Sunday.

Mentoring Students at JL Newborn

House of Joy is assisting with the mentoring program at JL Newborn Middle School.  If you are interested in being a mentor pick up a mentoring application packet from the Love Out table in the lobby.  Fill it out and turn it in asap to get started.  Mentoring would be with one student at JL Newborn for twenty minutes, once a week.
