Starting Point is House of Joy’s spiritual growth process. We hope to facilitate what naturally happens as a person grows in their relationship with Jesus. If you’ve been attending HOJ for a while and are ready to get involved or if you’re new to HOJ and are ready to take those “next steps” Starting Point is where it happens.

 

Starting Point 101:  Sign Up Now!

Participants will discover House of Joy’s identity as a church and the motivation behind all that we do. SP 101 also clarifies our essential beliefs and focuses on basic Christian understanding and truth. You will meet the House of Joy Staff as well as others who are new to HOJ.

Starting Point 201: Sign Up Now!

Participants will discover how to take responsibility for their own spiritual growth. 201 focuses on the essential habits necessary for spiritual growth and maturity. These habits include Reading and Studying the Bible, Prayer, Generosity, and Groups.

Starting Point 301: Sign Up Now!

You will focus on “Five Personal Factors” that SHAPE the real you. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry God has designed you for will become crystal clear!

Starting Point 401: Sign Up Now!

This class is all about discovering your mission to the world. You will learn how to best communicate your story and be inspired to lead others across “the line of faith.”

Starting Point Weekend Workshop: Sign Up Now!

The Weekend Workshop is your opportunity to go through the entire Starting Point process in one weekend!  If you’ve gone through portions of the process already or have finished the whole thing you can still come for the sessions you may have missed or just want a refresher on!
